The PIER Board of Directors is proud to announce that the design phase of Roatan's Vocational -Technical Center is underway.  PIER is committed to giving all islanders a chance to fit into the new economy.

PIER will open classes in 2011.  Board members Ted & Cam O'Brien have donated the use of land and buildings of the former Bay Islands Beach Resort for the Center's temporary site.  This will allow classes to begin, while the Board and community locate land and construct buildings at permanent location.

STUDENT SERVICES

In addition to the technical and management Courses, the Center will offer a range of personal services to insurestudents are able to attend classes and succeed in their job.  The Center will offer students tutoring, child care services, parenting classes, work behavior workshops, and job placement.
